How to transfer local retail prescriptions

• Call the El Paso County Pharmacy at (719) 520-7590 or the County - City Employee Pharmacy East at (719) 520-7630. Please have your medication bottles handy so you can tell us the prescription number and the name of the pharmacy where the prescription was last filled. We'll do all the rest of the work! OR:
• Stop by the Pharmacy with your medication bottles and we'll have your prescriptions transferred on the spot.

Remember, some medications may only be transferred between pharmacies once, and if this is the case you may need to obtain a new prescription from your health care provider.
