Cholesterol

Cholesterol is a waxy, fat-like substance found in your blood. Cholesterol is made by the liver and occurs naturally in all parts of the body. If you have too much cholesterol in your bloodstream, it can collect on vessel walls causing them to narrow.

Hypertension

Hypertension or High Blood Pressure affects about 65 million Americans or nearly 1 in 3 adults. When the heart beats, it pumps blood to the arteries and creates pressure in them. Blood pressure is determined by the amount of blood pumped by the heart, and the size and condition of the arteries.
